Santi was fantastic! Very professional and help me through the entire process. It is stressful trying to find a photographer from overseas and proposing at location you never seen before. But Santi provided all the pictures. Picked a fantastic spot, and helped with providing guidance for what colour clothing is best suited for the pictures. Where to stand as well. We hired him for a surprise proposal shoot across Nice and Monaco, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! Planning a surprise proposal can be nerve-wracking, but he was incredibly helpful from start to finish and easily adapted to all our needs on the day. He was extremely professional and even arrived before our scheduled time to make sure everything was perfectly set up. To top it all off, he sent us our beautifully edited photos just a day or two after the shoot, which is incredibly fast! He was an absolute pleasure to work with and well worth the money. If you are looking for a photographer in the French Riviera, book him!

On a eu une superbe expérience avec Santi pour nos fiançailles! Je l’ai trouvé seulement 3-4 semaines avant ma demande, et dès le début, il a été incroyable. On s’est écrit des dizaines de fois pour trouver l’endroit parfait pour ma demande, et c’est vraiment grâce à lui qu’on a trouvé le lieu idéal.
Je pensais au départ qu’il allait simplement prendre quelques photos du moment de la demande, mais il a vraiment dépassé mes attentes. Il a pris des centaines de magnifiques photos de nous autour du lieu, en plus de capturer plusieurs vidéos.

Monaco is tiny but full of rules, and that's where a local helps. This is how I handle the permit, the crowds and the best corners of the Rock.
Created by Prince Honoré V in 1816, these are the oldest public gardens in Monaco and free to enter. Shaded paths lead to a bronze statue of Albert I by François Cogné (1951), set above the sea, with views over Fontvieille. The accessible entrance is opposite the cathedral or on the Oceanographic Museum forecourt. Some slopes are steep, so I pick the flattest route for you.
The old town's lanes are made for a slow walk toward the question. Just steps away, the cathedral is where Rainier III and Grace Kelly married in 1956, and where both are buried: a romantic detail many partners love. Palace Square fills up for the changing of the guard, which lasts about seven minutes, so I time around it.
The Belle Époque square is iconic, but shoots at SBM venues such as the Casino and Hôtel de Paris need SBM's own approval. Since 2025, SBM has also put up signs reminding guests that filming or photographing people without consent in its venues is an offence. I keep your moment outdoors and frame it so other guests aren't identifiable.
For the classic view over the whole principality, Tête de Chien sits at 550 m in La Turbie, in France, outside Monaco's shooting rules. Access is free every day and there's a free car park. The fort there was completed in 1884. The view runs from Italy to the Esterel. It isn't wheelchair accessible, and you'll want a car to get there.
After the yes, the harbour is the natural next stop. It's lovely at blue hour, with the yachts lit up and the Rock behind you, and harbour-side terraces make an easy toast. In late September the Monaco Yacht Show takes over the port, with 2027 dates still to confirm. Around then I'd keep the proposal up on the Rock.
