What clients say

Santi was fantastic! Very professional and help me through the entire process. It is stressful trying to find a photographer from overseas and proposing at location you never seen before. But Santi provided all the pictures. Picked a fantastic spot, and helped with providing guidance for what colour clothing is best suited for the pictures. Where to stand as well. And he is willing to take the time to answer any questions you have and address them until you are satisfied. I loved my time working with Santi to achieve a big milestone of my life. Photos afterward were beautiful. You were the best Santi. Thank you!

We hired him for a surprise proposal shoot across Nice and Antibes, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! Planning a surprise proposal can be nerve-wracking, but he was incredibly helpful from start to finish and easily adapted to all our needs on the day. He was extremely professional and even arrived before our scheduled time to make sure everything was perfectly set up. To top it all off, he sent us our beautifully edited photos just a day or two after the shoot, which is incredibly fast! He was an absolute pleasure to work with and well worth the money. If you are looking for a photographer in the French Riviera, book him!

Everything went wonderfully. From the first details of the organization to the synchronization on the day and then to the moment of the proposal, Santi gave me all the guidance to create an unique and wonderful moment. The photos are gorgeous, both me and my fiancée are super excited about them.
I recommend Santi with the greatest pleasure! :)

Merci encore Santi!

Santi was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. He took beautiful photos of us and now we’ll have amazing pictures of our trip forever. We got to see so many lovely viewpoints that made the time extra special beyond the photoshoot. I would highly recommend. He was helpful with how to pose and made the session very relaxing.

Zack Washington, DC · September 2025

My wife and I decided to do a photoshoot so that we could get some pictures together in the beautiful town of Nice- we are so happy that we decided to book this with him! We just got our photos back today and we are so impressed with the quality of the photographs and are eager to hang them in our home. Santi took us to great locations around Nice and was very accommodating to make sure we captured all the locations we wanted. He went above and beyond our expectations and we cannot recommend this enough! Thank you so much Santi!

Planning your proposal in Antibes: a local's guide

In Antibes the old town, the ramparts, the beach and the harbour all sit within a few minutes' walk. That makes it one of the easiest places on the coast to stage a surprise.

The ramparts

The sea wall along Promenade Amiral-de-Grasse faces east across the Baie des Anges toward Nice and the Alps. As the sun sets behind the old town, it's the ramparts and the mountains opposite that catch the warm light. I usually place you along the wall and wait a little further down, like anyone else enjoying the view.

Plage de la Gravette

This is the little beach below the old town: public, free and sandy, with lifeguards in season. You walk down from Quai Henri Rambaud through a gate in the ramparts, which makes a lovely reveal. In summer it stays very busy, even in the evening, so I schedule it at very early morning or outside high season (spring or autumn), or I use the ramparts above instead.

Nomade, at Bastion Saint-Jaume

Jaume Plensa's Nomade is a seated figure about 8 m tall, made of steel letters. It was first shown in 2007 and has stood at Bastion Saint-Jaume since 2010. It's a striking frame for a proposal, especially with the harbour behind, and a good meeting point that won't raise suspicion.

Port Vauban

With 1,501 berths, Port Vauban is often called the largest marina in Europe. Quai Camille Rayon, the "billionaires' quay", takes up to 19 superyachts of 70 to 165 m. It's a spectacular backdrop for portraits after the yes, and the old town's restaurants are a short walk away for the celebration.

Cap d'Antibes and the Tire-Poil path

For a wilder setting, the Tire-Poil path starts from the car park on Avenue André Sella and takes about two hours as an easy walk. Its name comes from the wind that "pulls your hair", and it closes in bad weather or strong wind. The section below Villa Eilenroc is closed until May 2027, so I plan around it.

Common questions

Yes. Plage de la Gravette is a public, free and sandy beach right below the ramparts, with lifeguards in season. You reach it on foot from Quai Henri Rambaud through a gate in the walls, and there are paid car parks on Avenue de Verdun. It stays very busy in summer, even in the evening, so I usually plan it for very early morning or outside high season (spring or autumn), or move to the ramparts.
Yes, as long as it isn't a Monday. The museum in the Château Grimaldi is closed on Mondays and on 1 January, 1 May, 1 November and 25 December. From mid-June to mid-September it's open 10:00–18:00. The rest of the year it opens 10:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00. It sits on the ramparts, so it pairs naturally with a proposal there.
Yes, in calm weather. The path starts at the car park on Avenue André Sella and is an easy walk of about two hours. It closes in bad weather or strong wind. Note that the section below Villa Eilenroc is closed until May 2027, so I choose a spot on the open part and time it for softer light.
That's Nomade by Jaume Plensa: a seated figure about 8 m tall, made of steel letters, at Bastion Saint-Jaume. It was first shown in 2007 and has been permanent since 2010. It's free to visit and a favourite photo spot, which makes it a natural meeting point for a surprise.
I arrive early and blend in among the visitors with my camera; we agree a discreet signal beforehand. I capture the approach, the question and the reaction naturally, then relaxed couple portraits (Classic and Premium packages).
My favourites are the old town lanes and ramparts, and the beach below the old town at sunset. I'll suggest the best one for your timing and privacy.
Late afternoon into sunset, when the old stones turn golden and the light is soft over the sea.
About 30 minutes from Nice by train or car — easy to reach and perfect to pair with a celebration dinner.
We watch the forecast and can shift the time or use sheltered, elegant spots; if needed we reschedule.
