My story
From advertising to photography
I studied advertising, where I learned graphic design, radio and video. What pulled me in was the visual side, and that’s how I ended up in photography. My first job was as a photojournalist, and I also covered sports. It taught me to feel at home in very different places.
Where the proposals began
In 2021, on a trip to Mexico, I started photographing proposals, couples sessions and solo sessions on the beach. Since then I’ve done more than 200 sessions. The moment that moves me most is the question, and I still get emotional every time, even though I photograph proposals often.
How I came to Nice
I first came to Nice in 2019, on a trip that mixed holiday and work. Four years later I came back, this time to settle here. Nice has been home ever since.
My style: documentary, with a little guidance afterwards
My style is documentary: I photograph what really happens and I stay out of the way. On a proposal I don’t speak to the couple until after the question. Once the surprise is done, if you don’t know what to do in front of the camera, I’ll guide you with simple poses so you can relax and enjoy it.
Planning from another country
Planning something special from abroad can be complicated, and I understand that. That’s why I’m with you from the first message: we talk on WhatsApp, choose the place and the time together, and I keep the surprise safe until the moment arrives. I love accompanying you and sharing such a special moment.
Where I like to shoot
My favourite place is the beach: it’s where everyone meets, it’s always nice to go and it feels calm. The Riviera always has new places to discover, and every season has its charm. Spring and autumn are my favourites, because there are fewer people. In Nice I love photographing at Castle Hill: it has the best views of the city and lots of different backdrops in one place. I also work in Èze, Monaco, Cap Ferrat, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Cannes and Antibes.
What happens next
Write to me on WhatsApp with your date and place. We’ll plan the details together, and your edited photos arrive in a private gallery within 7 days. If it rains, we move the session to the next available slot we both agree on, at no extra cost.
