Every proposal is built around the right spot and the best light of the day. Pick the setting that feels like the two of you — I plan the timing, the hiding spot and a rain plan B around it.

We hired him for a surprise proposal shoot across Nice and Cannes, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! Planning a surprise proposal can be nerve-wracking, but he was incredibly helpful from start to finish and easily adapted to all our needs on the day. He was extremely professional and even arrived before our scheduled time to make sure everything was perfectly set up. To top it all off, he sent us our beautifully edited photos just a day or two after the shoot, which is incredibly fast! He was an absolute pleasure to work with and well worth the money. On a eu une superbe expérience avec Santi pour nos fiançailles! Je l’ai trouvé seulement 3-4 semaines avant ma demande, et dès le début, il a été incroyable. On s’est écrit des dizaines de fois pour trouver l’endroit parfait pour ma demande, et c’est vraiment grâce à lui qu’on a trouvé le lieu idéal.

My wife and I decided to do a photoshoot so that we could get some pictures together in the beautiful town of Nice- we are so happy that we decided to book this with him! We just got our photos back today and we are so impressed with the quality of the photographs and are eager to hang them in our home. Santi took us to great locations around Nice and was very accommodating to make sure we captured all the locations we wanted. Cannes looks effortless, but the Croisette is long and its beaches are mostly private. Here's how I narrow it down to the right few metres.
The promenade runs about 2 km. It was built between 1860 and 1863, became a pedestrian promenade in 1960 and has been on France's heritage inventory since 2001. That length is useful: I pick a stretch away from the busiest hotel fronts, where you can stop by the water without an audience. For walking it, flat shoes beat heels every time.
Cannes has more than 7 km of beaches, but 30 of them are private clubs. On the Croisette, Zamenhof and Brigitte Bardot are the public ones. Twelve beaches hold the 2026 Pavillon Bleu, including Bijou, Gazagnaire and Mouré Rouge. If mobility matters, there's an accessible beach (handiplage) right next to Bijou Plage. In summer the beach stays very crowded, even in the evening, so I suggest very early morning, visiting in spring or autumn, or a quieter stretch (or the old town of Le Suquet).
The old quarter climbs to La Castre, where the church and the monks' castle, now the Musée des Explorations du Monde, look over the bay. It's my favourite alternative when the seafront is crowded. You can climb on foot through the lanes, or take the electric bus that goes up, which helps if you're dressed for dinner.
Pointe Croisette is a well-known spot for watching the sun set toward the Esterel. The open horizon makes for wide, clean photos. I time the question for the last light, then keep shooting as the sky turns pink.
If you're staying a day longer, the Lérins Islands are 15 minutes by boat from the port. On Sainte-Marguerite, Fort Royal is where the Man in the Iron Mask was held, a fun story for your first trip as an engaged couple. On the evening itself, the restaurants of the old port are a short walk from the Croisette.
